As a Detroit-based brand rooted in both Ghanaian and Filipino heritage, Venes is building a bridge between our community here at home and communities that are deeply connected to our founder and her family.

The village at the heart of this mission is the village our founder's father comes from. This isn't a community chosen from afar it's part of our family's story.
Our founder regularly returns home to Ghana, giving Venes a direct connection to the community and an opportunity to understand needs firsthand, maintain relationships, and see where support can make a meaningful difference.
Our growing areas of impact include:
- Access to clean and reliable water
- Agricultural resources and development
- Clothing and essential supplies
- Resources for children and families
- Community development and economic opportunity

Our story also reaches the Philippines.
With Filipino roots on our founder's mother's side, our long-term vision includes developing community-centered initiatives in the Philippines focused on children and families, essential resources, wellness, and opportunities to support access to needed medical resources.
Like our work in Ghana, we want these efforts to be rooted in genuine relationships, transparency, and direct community connection.
